If history has taught us anything, it’s that certain designs in women’s fashion will always make a comeback. This is not always a good thing but sometimes designs that were frowned upon earlier are more accepted the second time. One such design is the flapper dress.

Some celebrities are already adorning this dress which was a symbol of empowered women back in the 20s. The flapper dress has already made a few rounds on the catwalk and celebrities such as Eva Longoria and Kate Moss have been sported looking very chic in these dresses.

Square shoulders have also gotten a warm reception and are looking surprisingly good with celebrities such as Victoria Beckham spotting the look. Padded shoulders were first introduced into women’s fashion in the 30s and later on puffed up in the 80s.  Another surprise and much welcome addition to fashion is the peplum design which was trendy in the 40s. This design is now giving women a clear cut look and with fashion icons such as Kate Middleton and Blake Lively sporting the peplum, it’s clear that this women’s fashion look is not going out of style any time soon.
