New Holiday Party Dresses at Sydney’s Closet
Sydney’s Closet has long been a favorite among plus size women, and young girls especially, looking for formal and party dresses for those special occasions. So no wonder it is a favorite among these special times when most ladies are looking for that great dress to wear at a Christmas party of some sort.
Only recently, Sydney’s Closet have started their own collection of dresses, which of course they are offering online at their online store. My favorite out of the new three dresses is the one picture here, which is aptly named Sheer Delight. It is an A-line dress featuring charmeuse satin and netting fabric. My second favorite is the bold Odyssey dress, which again comes in a figure flattering empire waistline. It features charmeuse satin fabric and the spaghetti straps can be adjusted to create your perfect fit. This dress features a tea length skirt, which I have to say I love. I am a person who loves wearing great shoes, and I have to admit I love showing off my ankles, so a tea length dress is a perfect compromise between a short skirted or long dress. To top it off, the Odyssey ships with a matching 3/4 length shrug. Hey presto, your outfit is complete.
The last addition introduced by Sydney’s Closet last week is the beautiful cocktail dress named the Galaxy. This sexy dress features hand-beaded lace and charmeuse satin fabric. A feature which earns a lot of dress points with me is the sewn in bra. When the bra cups are sewn in a dress the correct way it add such comfort to a dress! With Thanksgiving only a couple of days away and Christmas a little over a month away, I though it was time to reveal our final list of plus size dresses we recommend full figured women look at, as options to wear during the holiday season.
If you follow the Plus Size Clothing Scoop, you will remember that in around mid October I released our preview list, which included the top 5 plus size Christmas holiday dresses I had our eye on. This was only the preview list, as it was a little too early to conclude things; I was sure our favorite plus size clothing stores still had more in store for us. And I was right! Our favorite stores brought out their holiday dresses and fashions. In fact the final list has been extended to list 10 plus size dresses which are perfect for the holidays! Some dresses have changed positions, some have stayed where they were, and others have been pushed out of the list by better options. Without further ado, I shall leave you to look at our chosen dresses.
1. Fiorella Lace Gown with Shrug in Red from IGIGI
Our true winner from IGIGI still holds the top spot! This gorgeous gown remains our top favourite dress to wear during the special Christmas holiday season. Colored perfectly in red, the lace make it look chic and warm at the same time. Beautiful stretch lace has an iridescent effect due to a contrasting lining. Details include a skirt that is flared from the knee due to a number of the sheer chiffon godets; empire waist is trimmed with a velvet panel.
