Here’s something you definitely do not see everyday, an all-male plus size cheerleading squad team dubbed the ‘Manatees’.
This Florida base baseball cheerleading squad will perform at Marlins home games on Friday and Saturday nights. Set up primarily as a way to bring back fans, the cheerleader boys are finding this experience a fun, rewarding and most of all, liberating one!
The squad range in age from their early 20s to their early 60s, and in build from slightly chubby to a litte bit more. I think this is such a great idea these guys have put together, read more about it at CSmonitor.com.

Brand New Directory Section: Big and Tall Men!
Ever since the initial launch back in 2003, Pasazz.net has been a website focused primarily on providing plus size women with all the quality fashion resources available to them online. Lately however, I’ve been feeling the need to extend Pasazz.net and it’s resources to satisfy the needs and requirements of our plus size male counterparts.
I have been receiving suggestions from plus size men to include add a section to the directory dedicated solely to the clothing resources available online to big and tall men. Therefore, it is with great pleasure that I announce that this month Pasazz.net has added a brand new directory category, targeted exclusively to satisfying the fashion needs of big and tall men.
Named very appropriately, the Big and Tall Men’s clothing section, already includes a good number of clothing resources such as BigMansLand and Casual Male XL. Though this is just the beginning! Big Handsome Man Wins the Big Oscar
My hunch, or shall I say, my preference was right! Last night Forest Whitaker walked away with the little golden statue… The Oscar. Whitaker was names Best Actor in a leading role. I was rooting for Whitaker all the way! Although all the other men who were nominated are of course very talented, I was happy Whitaker walked away with the award as his performance as Idi Amin was impeccable.
I had previously watched several documentaries of Idi Amin, which also portrayed the actual man in various interviews and footage, and I thought Whitaker’s performance in ‘The Last King of Scotland‘ was spot on. Besides the movie being, of course, a very through provoking and soul shaking movie.
A little bit about the movie, ‘The Last King Of Scotland‘:
An idealistic Scottish doctor working in Uganda unexpectedly finds himself selected by the nation’s dictator, Idi Amin, to serve as his personal physician. As young Nicholas Garrigan succumbs to the seductive extravagances of palace life, he also becomes an eyewitness to the horrors and brutality of Amin’s regime.
